The Ini-To Lodge of the Order
of the Arrow is excited to sponsor the 25th annual
Klondike Derby. Activity Stations will be used demonstrate
Scout
skills and provide some friendly competition - all
designed to show and teach outdoor skills.
This year’s Gold Rush will feature new
events to test your winter skills and ability to have
fun. Bring your sled to the Championships: all new
runoff scheme for much more excitement. Plus don't
miss the famous Iron Chef cook-off.

WHO: All Boy Scout
Troops and Venture Crews from the Flint River Council are invited. Webelos
are invited also, but should be attending as a den and
camping with a troop.
WEBELOS GUIDELINES:
For Webelos to go
camping with Boy Scouts, they must have a minimum of 2 adult leaders from the
Webelos den (not every parent, but they can’t be left solely with the troop’s
leadership). The current outdoor policies prohibit Webelos from
participating in any of the Klondike events. Boy Scout and Webelos activities
must be held separately and age-appropriate, even if they are at the same venue.
WHAT: The annual
Klondike Campout. Winter camping at its best. Fun events. Show off Scout winter
skills. Be sure to bring a sled [See
Plans] for every patrol or Venture Crew. A few extra sleds will be
available the day of the race to borrow.
WHEN: Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday; January 27-29th.
WHERE: The Gerald
I Lawhorn Scout Base Flint River Adventure Area,
located on the Flint River.
REGISTER:
Mail the registration form in the Leader's Guide to the Flint River Council
office in Griffin, or use the
Doubleknot Online Registration available at the Flint River Council
website.
